This year saw the completion of the first full satellite constellation of the European Space Agency's Copernicus program after the launching of the 7th Sentinel satellite. The pair that this newly launched satellite makes up is designed to record oceanography data, measuring ocean temperature, color, sea level, sea ice thickness, and biological activity.
