At the end of June, BP and its partners announced the start-up of Shah Deniz 2, including its first commercial gas delivery to Turkey. This project is the first subsea development in the Caspian Sea and is the starting point for the Southern Gas Corridor series of pipelines set to deliver Natural Gas from the Caspian Sea directly to European markets for the first time in 2020. Industries like Natural Resources and Emergency Response face plenty of hurdles, especially as far as pipeline regulations are concerned.
