System design and implementation can take on many forms ranging from simple
data migration to building a full-blown enterprise solution from the ground up.
The road to a successful enterprise implementation is comprised of activities such as:
Strategy and Requirements Definition, Data model design, Database implementation,
Data standardization and migration, Workflow Enhancement, and more.
Integrated has the experience and expertise to assist clients with any single component, a combination of components or a full system design and implementation.

Applied Data Management focuses on supporting construction projects and ongoing production and operation of fields and facilities through integrated Engineering and Environmental System Design. An important focus is placed on the need to maintain company practices and comply with regulatory requirements. The value of this type of system is found through integration across disciplines of data and information.

Effective management of stakeholder information across an enterprise has been a constant challenge to energy companies especially with ever growing need to do more with less and while continuing to meet regulatory obligations.
Communication with stakeholders and managing stakeholder relationships are integral to good business practice and a positive indicator of progressive corporate culture.
Proper management of and timely access to stakeholder information is critical with regards to emergency response situations, public consultation programs, decision support, project design constraints, and asset accessibility for maintenance programs.

Getting your data from Relational to Spatial, simple to say but not so simple to do. Integrated has designed and implemented processes for getting your corporate relational data into a spatial form for use with your GIS. Typically implemented as services, application of these spatialization techniques allow you to unlock the value residing in your corporate stores by allowing full integration and supporting analysis within a GIS. With over 10 years of experience in this topic alone we have the tools and know how to move your corporation forward quickly.

Frustrated by the multitude seismic and well formats that a GIS cannot read,
Integrated Informatics has developed a toolkit for reading and loading seismic
navigation and well survey information into native GIS formats. The toolkit
includes the ability to read seismic formats such as UKOOA, SEG P1, SEG Y, SPS, etc.
as well as user-customized variations. Seismic tools include standard audit calculations,
ability to decimate inputs, and use standard EPSG projections.
Well data can be read from raw ASCII files, P7, spreadsheet, and
delimited files -- the well tools calculate paths from measured depth, azimuth,
and inclination, and properly accounts for grid convergence when required.
Those are just some highlights, with over 30 tools (including reports) in the toolkit
there's bound to be something that enables your GIS to be Oil and Gas savvy.

Maybe you have wondered where all your spatial data exists on your computer or network, or maybe you are in the process of migrating to a new folder structure or even into an enterprise database. In either case the Integrated Spatial Data Sniffer can help you locate, understand, and quantify the location and content of your spatial data. Implemented as a tool that can be run from a desktop, across a server, or scheduled to run in the evenings, the results of this crawler will return location of file based datasets, workspaces, as well as the details about spatial references, field names, vector file contents, raster bands information, and much more. Use the Spatial Data Sniffer to build your inventory and the story from which successful migrations can begin.

Processing the large volume of measurements from LiDAR surveys can create data management, processing and analysis challenges. Integrated Informatics has helped clients develop data management, technical specifications and quality control procedures for deliverables from LiDAR vendors to solve these problems. A solid understanding of the intended usage of the data allowed us to do this for oil sands mine development and 3D seismic survey programs. Providing data consumers with baseline LiDAR products ensures that all subsequent engineering and environmental work products derived from the LiDAR data are consistent.

Decision Support

Least Cost Path analysis has a high level of applicability to the pipeline routing process. Using a method that dynamically accounts for terrain variations during a least cost path analysis results in a tighter set of routing options and proven cost savings of up to 30% pipeline construction costs.
|
|
A decision support system, capable of supporting the decision making process in a defensible and repeatable manner is a valuable tool indeed. This application was developed to support the optimal siting and cost estimation of water disposal sites, well sites, batteries, gathering system flow lines, and dewatering pipelines for coal bed methane field development.

Creating high fidelity digital terrain models is one of the core strengths of Integrated
Informatics, but our knowledge does not end there. We have developed many processes and
applications that allow us to effectively manage, utilize, and analyze digital terrain surfaces for a
variety of uses. These include: accuracy assessments, slope stability, vegetation growth,
terrain characterization, geotechnical hazards identification, cut-fill volume, and more.

Although modeling disaster scenarios is quite complex, the complexity of modeling cannot stand in the way of compliance with regulatory requirements and public expectations. Our approach is based on rigorous methods.

|
Our Class Location Analyst tool enables pipeline operators to automate class location analysis (CSA Z662 and CFR 192) resulting in reduced data acquisition costs, improved workflow, and proven cost savings.
|
|
| Our HCA tool supports the assessment and reporting of both directly and indirectly affected HCA's within simple or complex analysis areas. This allows for the use of predefined polygonal geometry (such as pre-determined spill areas) as well as offset values for the identification of HCAs. |
|
| The Integrated Schematics Designer produces schematics diagrams of pipeline, well and facility data. Customizable to suit the needs of your company, this stand-alone tool can quickly map out the pipe to facility connectivity of an entire production/distribution field. |
|
| Finally an application that makes alignment sheet generation simple, fast and accurate. Our application creates alignment sheets that are dynamically linked directly to the data eliminating the unnecessary workflow repetition that used to come with data updates. |
|
| Easily generate maps based on pre-set areas (gathering systems, operations areas or EPZ?s) Integrated into ArcMap this extension allows even new users to easily generate map series that adhere to corporate standards by automating the cartographic process. |
|
| The PODS Editor is the only stand alone application available that reduces the complexity of PODS data implementation and maintenance. The easy to use application simplifies the data entry process through the use of easy to navigate user interfaces and built in data validation. The application insures that associations and dependencies among PODS tables are maintained, while ensuring data validation is enforced. |

Using a GIS, optimal pump station placement can be decided based on hydraulic modeling, terrain constraints, accessibility, pump station suction/discharge pressure and other factors.
|
|
|
Although pipeline hydraulics are typically produced within a spreadsheet or purpose-built software, the same formulas used in these applications can also be used within a GIS to generate a hydraulic profile across the entire pipeline system.
